Richard has been the Treasurer for the Tennis Club for more than fifty years, and he will be retiring from this position at the end of the year. He recently celebrated his 90th Birthday, and to celebrate this event a number of Members met in the Victoria Club to drink his health, and present him with a Birthday cake. We enjoyed great weather for our American Tournament made all the better with a good turnout. Thanks to all who came and congratulations to the winners, Vicky and Libby as well as thanks to the organiser Shirley and our official photographer, Paddy!

Fed up with our long winter and delayed spring, a group of our members took it upon themselves to travel to Costa Teguise, Lanzarote to enjoy tennis and lots more for a few days in March. Blessed with fine weather we even made it on court a few times! More trips are planned in the future. Thanks to Tony for organising.
